Sunday Inspiration

Today's inspiration photos come from the Fever London Catalogue. And here is the little story of how the catalogue came to be in my possession.

My lovely new editor from The Bay magazine in Swansea decided to take me around all the little boutique stores in Mumbles to introduce me to the owners and to have a nose at the items in stock so we could plan some of my articles. Whilst on our wanders we had a good little nose at all the lovely clothes the shops had to offer and a nice little chat, about our styles and tastes etc. So when we walked into Goose Island and I saw this dress I said how this was my perfect dress and totally the style I would like to wear. So...
Lesley said I should try it on. I of course declined the offer as we were technically on a business meeting and I felt silly, I had only meet this women once before when she hired me. But she stood her ground and said we couldn't leave the store until I had tried it on, so I caved. Whilst trying it on I reminded Lesley I was on a shopping ban (she already new after seeing my blog) and that I had no where to wear such a nice dress. She reminded me I was going to my In-Laws wedding and would have to have something new. So when I came out and the dress was such a perfect fit on me she announced 'We'll take it!' I tried to reason that she couldn't buy me a dress but she ignored me and did any way.
Isn't it stunning?
And isn't my editor amazing?? Lol
Well that's the first part of my story the second part involves me getting theses two dress.
For FREE!!
After Lesley bought me my dress I decided to google Fever London to check out what other items they did, as this dress really was a perfect fit on my frame. That led me to their Facebook Page, and their status at that time said they were looking for people to review their S/S catalogue. So I emailed and amazingly I was one of the chosen few to review the collection.
3 days later the amazing catalogue turned up on my door step, accompanied by a lovely letter saying that in return for my review I would be able to chose 2 dresses from the catalogue as a Thank You! Yay!
So I chose the Tonga Sundress and the Bluebird Side Lace Dress both £74.99. My review will be going up soon on their blog so I'll keep you posted.

But for now here are my fav editorial shots from the beautiful catalogue to keep you entertained.

Please do check out their site as they do such stunning clothing. Most is vintage inspired which makes it even more perfect to me. They are great for special occasions and are really beautifully made as well. There really is something for all tastes too. Enjoy!

  3. Congrats!!! I'm sure you've totally earned those three dresses! My favorite one is the second and then the pastel green one from the catalogue ... If only I had the body to wear it ... or the money to afford it, hehe.

    Have a nice week!
