Today's post is to give a big shout out to Just Giving, the best way to fundraise online. Most of you will already know about Just Giving and lots of you may even have used it yourself. Personally I have used it on a number of occasions when running the Race for Life for Cancer Research UK and when walking the Midnight Walk for Ty Hafan.
I think it is hugely important to help fundraise for national and local causes like these, especially when they are close to your heart. Just Giving allows fundraisers to spread the word of their activities and causes far and wide, simply by allowing them to have their own fundraising page which they can share on social networking sites with all their friends, and friends of friends, and friends of friends of friends (you get the idea!) meaning their reach is far greater.
Although I haven't been able to run the Race for Life this year I am signing up for the Alzheimer's Memory Walk, and I will be helping raise funds for a playground roundabout at our local special needs school.
Have you or are you doing anything for charity this year? I would love to hear about other peoples experience with fund raising and charity events.
Don't forget my Bumper Beauty Giveaway for you chance to win elf, Lush and Burts Bees items
