Ah we are nearly there!!
W is for my favourite designer of all time! I know she is a complete oddball but I love her and her designs. Her tailoring is stunning and her ideas are so fun. All of the big trends over the last year or so can be found in her older collections. She is truly inspirational.
W is for Westwood (as in Vivienne I know that is technically a V but I already had 2 ideas for that as you have all seen)
I am lucky enough to own her book from 2004, published by the V&A. And have spent many hours flicking through it and being mesmerized by her creativeness. I love this book! Actually I adore it! I have 4 really good fashion books and this is one of them. The others are Manolo Blahnik (history book), Samples (a massive book on up and coming designers from 2005) and The Fashion Bible. I also have a few smaller fashion books and I'm hopefully getting Twiggys 60 years in photos when Waterstones gets it back in stock (all were bought when I wanted to be a fashion journalist, but I love them more now that I don't want to be one, so they are just fun not research! lol!)
How amazing are these embroidered booties!!
Loving the veiled boater hats.
This is the epitome of her stunning tailoring! The back of the jacket is all pleated and ruffled, I would die to own it!
More stunning tailoring and I love the riding hat!
The torn fashion, except from about 1991! DIY anyone??
And the lace dress is beautiful and so elegant.
Another DIY challenge for someone I think, bleached denim suit!
Who says you shouldn't mix bold prints! Mixed tartan works so well her (and the tailoring, am I a little obsessed by the tailoring! lol!)
I simply adore the print and simple style of the left dress and the beautiful front detail of the right one. I would wear either of these for my upcoming ball, which I have news on by the way but will be posting another day!
And the lovely Zany lady herself!
Do you love her too? I think she is an acquired taste. But I simply love her stuff, all of it! Plus her perfume is beautiful, a often steal a squirt of my mothers when I am at home!
Don't forget to enter my giveaway. I have decided if I reach 100 entries the winner will get an extra special prize from me aswel.
