The 8th of March was International Women's Day so Oxfam Boutique in Cardiff hosted a Charity Catwalk Show to help raise money for women's aid all over the world. Across the world many women struggling to get equal rights to men and to survive on their own. The Oxfam campaign is fighting for women and the money raised through International Women's Day will have a huge impact on their lives.
So Oxfam Boutique Cardiff teamed up with Coleg Glan Hafren students to put on a fun catwalk show using recycled donated items. The students created some great outfits and accessories and here they all are for you to see. They were all available to buy afterwards too to help raise those extra funds.

Brilliant all round: the recycling, the awareness-raising, the great recycled designs on show and - most importantly - the fund raising. What an excellent way to celebrate International women's day.
