Outfit Post - Denim, Houndstooth and a Hint of Pink

Thought it was about time I posted a new outfit post as I don't think I have done one in ages, and this is the first one to be taken at my parents home where we are now living! This was just a little outfit for running lots of errands as that is all we seem to be doing at the moment, sorting home stuff, sorting money and advertising for the business and just getting used to such a change in our life.
 Dress: Converse (c/o Patty Ann)
Blouse: Dorothy Perkins
Tights: Random Brand via TKMaxx
My hint of pink comes in the form of these really sweet owl earrings I was sent by Miki of Miki's Scrapbook. I actually wear them quite a lot as they are really delicate but so cute!
Oh and do you like my little purchase from this week? Cardiff Bay hosted their multicultural Mela this week and I purchased this beautiful little bangle from one of the stall holders. I just loved the colour and sparkles!

So thats all for today, don't forget to enter my Bumper Beauty Bundle Giveaway! You could win some great elf, Lush and Burts Bees stuff.

Outfit Post - A Cowgirl Twist!

It was our works staff do last week and we went to a great place called the Hang Fire Grill which takes place in The Canadian pub in Splott every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So to honour the event we decided to dress up with a Western Theme. So here is my take on a modern cowgirl outfit.
 Dress: Converse
Shirt: Spy Denim Menswear
Tights: Random from TKMaxx
Shoes: Ruby Shoo via Ebay
Necklace and Ring: via Etsy
I didn't have a cowboy hat so I figured bunches would have to do.
I thought the heart print tights would add a bit of extra fun to the outfit and I don't have cowboy boots but I had just bought these Ruby Shoo denim shoes on eBay and they needed some breaking in, so I thought they would be perfect for this outfit. I managed to get them at a bargain price, they usually sell for £40-£45 new and I got these for £11 on eBay and they are practically new, barely worn on the sole at all.
And to finish the outfit off some fitting jewellery for the outfit, my stag skull ring and bulls head necklace! Love them lots!
So what do you think, did I manage to look Western enough?
Have you done any fun fancy dress recently?

My 100th post!

My gosh this is my 100th post, but I'm not doing a big one. It's late and I've had a really busy day and tomorrow is a match day so it will be totally manic in the pub. I shall post the winner of the Red Ruby Rose clutch tomorrow as it is going to take me a while to sort all the entries out and I shall be posting this weeks giveaway, which is a stunning wooden butterfly necklace.

Today was so busy because I had a meeting with the chair cover people for the wedding, AND I had another dress fitting. It was amazing all the pieces are kinda finished they all just need attaching to each other. The bridesmaids dresses are nearly finished too so it was a great day!

Here is my outfit for the morning. I decided to wear the Converse dress I got in the swap with Patty Ann of AlphaBetaChic. Check out my new gloves too. My mum bought them for me today!
Dress: Converse (via Patty Ann)
Shirt: NewLook
Tights: Random
Necklace: Meridian Studio (customer order for my graduation off my parents)
Shoes: George at ASDA
Bracelet: Wallis
Jacket: TKMaxx
Gloves: Steil-eto (Pontarddulias)
Scarf: Primark
Brooches: vintage/handmade

Much rather outdoorsy pics but I don't have the time or weather to take them half the time. My sis took these ones for me though.

Sneaky Peek

No outfit post even though I said I would do one, I'm very sorry. But I have got some pics of my amazing clothes parcel off Patty Ann. We did a swap a few weeks ago and my parcel arrived this morning. I as so so please with everything she sent me. So I would like to say a big big THANK YOU to Patty Ann.
Missimo Supply Co stripped dress
Converse denim look dress
Rodart for Target T-shirt (amazingly the only piece from the collection that I would have bought myself, I love the lace pattern!)
Angel Wing Ring
Pearl Flower Ring
Cameo Earrings
I really adore the Angel Wing Ring and have been wearing it all day. It's kinda funny coz I have been looking for one all week after seeing one on another blog, but just haven't found one I liked and could afford, so was so pleased when I saw one nestled inside my parcel. And I got lots of comments on it in work tonight.
Expect to see these items cropping up in my outfits over the next few weeks.
I have just finished a swap with Valencia Lia too so am looking forward to my second parcel arriving. If anyone else fancies some kinda swap, just drop me a line because I have had so much fun doing these two.

Don't forget my giveaway girls, link in side bar at the top. This seems to be your favourite giveaway yet as there are loads of entries!

Good Night!
