Here is the very simple tutorial I promised yesterday. How to turn a vintage dress into a cute skirt.
Hope you enjoy and I look forward to seeing your creations.

thanks. great idea.
ReplyDeleteHi, Chantele! It looks easy to do, if only I knew how to use a sweing machine, haha. God, I have no skills whatsoever =(! I was thinking about taking a super basic dressmaking course in the fashion school my sister works in. It only takes 3 months, but I figured I might be leaving sooner than that and I really need the money.
ReplyDeleteAre you feeling better today? They say that rinsing one's mouth with whiskey helps ease the pain when you have a toothache. I hope you're much better today! =)
Great tutorial and wonderful idea. I just started sewing and I feel like I can handle this. :) xo style, she wrote

Awesome video! I always forget when I'm out vintage shopping how easy it can be to alter thing! Lovely blog!
ReplyDeleteWow that looks great! It doesn't seem too hard (that's a good thing for me). I just need to pick up my sewing machine from my parents house. Thanks for the tutorial.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Day Zero thing, I looked at my list and I can cross a few things off it. I only have just over a year left since I wrote that list (eep). I will try and get back into it. Thanks for the push :)
Looks great! I will have to try this, although my sewing machine and I are NOT getting along at the mo. I might just be able to work it out soon, though. ;)
