Sunday Inspiration - The Fearne Cotton Collection

I love the Fearne Cotton Collection at Very.com and was very lucky to have been contacted by them to receive one of her new pieces. I will be doing an outfit post tomorrow with the piece I chose from the collection but for now here are my fav items from her A/W range.

Can you guess which one I chose?
Which item would you have chosen?

Product Review - Be Gentle Naked Beauty Hand Wash

Today I bring you another review of one of the items from my Naked Beauty haul.

This time it's the turn of the Be Gentle Starflower Hand Soap. Get the 250ml pump bottle for £3,99
What they say: Starflower is crammed with GLA - an essential fatty acid known to help improve the skin's protective barrier and help combat the signs of ageing. The oil extracted from Starflower seeds is very softening and, because we don't use harsh detergents, your hands shouldn't feel dry and tight after washing - just kitten soft. You can now enjoy our signature Starflower fragrance every time you visit the sink! Vegetarian and vegan friendly.

What I say: The smell on this stuff is freaking amazing. I have no idea what a starflower is, but I would gladly fill my house with them!! It has a slight jasmine and lavender kind of smell, floral with a spicy undertone and it manages to stay with you for quite a while after washing. It's like a real perfume!

Does it work: My hands are feeling mega soft! I keep it in my bathroom so use it all the time and my skin is getting really soft even where it used to be quite hard and you really don't get the harsh feeling you get when using real soap.

Fancy it: Buy it here

Friend Friday - Fall Trends

It's Friend Friday and this weeks theme is our 5 favourite fall trends. You can see all the other ladies picks over on Modly Chic as usual. But for me as I have a shopping ban on and am unable to buy any new items, and don't have items to fit most the trend I thought I could do a bit of window shopping for this post. What I would buy for this season if I could!

Here are my picks

Snakeskin
I thought I would be unlikely to go all out on the snakeskin and I was more likely to wear snakeskin on my accessories. So this hair bobble is awesome.

Snake Skin Head Bow: Miss Selfridge £5

But then I found these shorts! Cute!! And kinda a subtle snakeskin so not to OTT.
Snake Skin Hotpants: Top Shop £34

Polka dots
You all know I adore POLKA DOTS!!!! And do have plenty of these in my wardrobe, but I would love this blouse and jumper to add to my collection
Teal Polka Dot Blouse: A Wear £25

Dotty Jumper: Lipsy £35

Jewel Tones
Jewel tones are just so rich and beautiful and will be great going into the Christmas season. I would love these tights to brighten up a simple black dress.

Teal Flower Lace Tights: Topshop £12

Or this dress to wear with simple black tights!
Belted Ponti Dress: Warehouse £65

Printed Blouses
These are a sexy and chic addition to a wardrobe, and will add a classy and sophisticated look but the patterns keep them a little playful.

Horse print blouse: A Wear £28

Yellow Bloom Blouse: Topshop £38

Fur Trim
Take thick warm outerwear add fur and hey presto a great winter trend. Anything that adds a little warmth in the winter here is a plus for me.

Fur Trimmed Coatigan (yes that really is what it's called!!): Oasis £65

Camel Fur Trimmed Frock Coat: Miss Selfridge £80

So these are my picks. What are your hit trends for this fall?
