Outfit Post - My new favourite skirt

Weather has been decidedly strange in Wales this last few weeks, we have had lovely sun interspersed with thunder storms and torrential downpours. Which has made getting dressed a bit difficult as you never know what to wear. So I have mainly just been dressing for comfort when I am not in work, anything to keep cool as the temperature is so warm, even in the rain!

I bought this new, seriously comfy maxi skirt last week in Matalan as I really wanted something that would keep me cool but also cover me up a bit. I have been wearing it pretty much all week. And this is probably my favourite way to wear it, paired with a simple vest top, pumps and possibly some sort of extra vest/cardi.

 p.s do you like my new photo location? Thanks to now living with my parents again, I have access to a nice big green garden and am making full use of the dry weather to take my pictures out in the sun!

 Here are the cute shoes, denim with little cream pom poms. They are my sisters, although I am pretty sure I gave them to her last year because they were too small, but now seem to fit fine.

Anyone else having mad weather at the moment? Been up to anything fun?

Outfit Post - Boots and Bows

Ok so sorry I have been away for a few days but here is a little hint as to where I have been 

Can you guess? We took our few days holiday in Barcelona that we had as a birthday gift off my parents. I shall be bringing you some more in the week, when Jon has finished editing a few of them.

So as we are still off for a few more days we ventured out in the sun to get a quick outfit post. I was trying for something a bit more rock/rebel look wise, as I really wanted to style my new Dr Martens boots Jon bought me and my huge tartan bow I bought from Johnny Loves Rosie. This was the outcome!

30 for 30 challenge - Day 6

So here is day 6 of my 30 for 30 challenge. Sorry it's late. Yesterday was Jon's birthday so we spent the day at Alton Towers, one of the UK's biggest theme parks. Its was great fun, but a very long and tiring day so didn't get round to posting anything. These photos were taken on Saturday in Neath Abbey Ruins. Jon wanted a bit of practice and the weather was so nice we thought we may as well take full advantage of it. Sorry for the photo overload but he took lots that I liked, and Im never very good at editing!

Have just realised my entire outfit is from Supermarkets, minus sunglasses, bangles and necklace! How the world of shopping has evolved.

A bit of climbings was in order for these. The ruins is perfect for this kinda childlike play.

Marilyn Moment!

My 30 for 30 seems to be going fairly well so far. Aren't having too much trouble putting together outfits, yet! This outfit is a nice summery one to help me keep cool on the very warm day.

I have 2 more outfits ready to post but shall keep them till tomorrow. Plus the final of my '7 Wonders' Feature will be up tomorrow.
