Review - Zalando Collection Gold and Navy Jumper

Now I have to be totally honest, I hadn't heard of Zalando before they got in contact with me to ask me to review one of their items. As I didn't know what type of clothing they stocked the first thing I did was jump on the site. I was amazed by how massive it is! And not just for womens wear, they stock mens, kids and home wears too. How did I not know of their existence, am I the only one?
Anyway, I had a good nose around the site and decided that I wanted a jumper as the winter was coming, and I literally own 3 that fit! It took me a while to make a finally decision but in the end I went for this Zalando Collection Gold and Navy one. I loved the bold, almost art nouveau pattern on it, and I have nothing even remotely similar in my wardrobe. My only concern was if the gold threads might be itchy. You know that metallic threads can sometimes be a bit more harsh on the skin, they can be scratchy, well I worried that these might be similar.
But after wearing it a few times I noticed that it only itched my on my inner arm, by my elbow joint, and after 2 washes even that has almost completely gone. So I am pretty please. I love the jumper! I find it quite versatile, last time I wore it over a black mini dress to an event, and this time I paired it with vintage trousers to go out shopping with my mum and sis.
Trousers: Vintage (via YMCA Charity Shop)
Boots: c/o Shoe Zone
Here is the pattern up close, Isn't it pretty? It comes in Black and White too!

Have you heard of Zalando? Have you ever bought anything from them?

30 for 30 - Day 5 & 6. Plus Bunnies!

So for my disappearing act again, it was another match weekend here in Cardiff which means I was working lots!! I apologise for being slow with my 30 for 30, but I can't do outfits and photos everyday so they will be staggered over the next few weeks. I promise to finish it this time round though. So here is Day 5 and Day 6.
Outfit made up of: 10+11+23+30
10. M&S Limited Collection
11. New Look
23. Dorothy Perkins
30. Unbranded
+
Pocket Watch Necklace from Amie Boutique on Etsy
Ring found in work
So this leopard print top was one of the challenge pieces sent to me by my best friend Heather. I think I nailed a fairly edgy look, and it has changed my opinion of leopard print. You may see some more pieces in my wardrobe soon.
Day 6
Outfit made up of: 2+3+30
2. H&M
3. Primark
30. Unbranded
+
Blue flower hairband from Canada
Mirano Glass Earrings, christmas gift from parents
Vintage brooch from Ebay
This blue flower dress was another challenge piece Heather sent me. It's not my usual style but I kinda like it, and it finally gave me something to pair this vest/tunic/dress thing with (spur of the moment sale buy!)

A few of you who have been reading a while know that I had new baby bunnies when I got back from my Honeymoon in China. And you have been emailing me asking to see some pictures of my little cuties, so here are the first few pictures.

This is Jasper!
This is Delilah!
This is how they like to sleep!
And this is Delilah on her first photoshoot! lol. She stayed still unlike her brother who just kept jumping out of the box! Isn't she cute! Expect to see more photos like this!

How is everyones 30 for 30 going? Any drop out's yet? Anyone struggling or are we all ok?

Vogue Patterns Inspiration

Well seeing as my Sunday inspiration this week was to do with pattern mixing and the stunning Vogue Patterns Shoot, I thought I should try out some pattern mixing of my own and try to do my own version of the Vogue shoot (not sure I like the photos that much though? What do you think, honestly?)
Majorly manic carpet: O'Neills!
Jacket: Silk Trader, China
Dress: New Look via Cardiff clothes swap
Top: F+F Tesco
Boots: Unknown
Belt: Matalan (off another dress)
Bag: China
Necklace + bracelet: China
Ring: Vintage via my aunt
Tights: Random (probably primark)

This is my silk jacket I bought in China, the only piece of clothing I bought actually!! It is made of pure silk and the fabrics was all hand made in the factor we went to. It is really stunning quality. I didn't go for a colour that was too bright as I thought I would get more wear out of the black and silver one, although I did try on a red one and a turquoise one too.
The bag also came from China and is a traditionally embroidered bag of one of the tribes (although I don't remember which one now)

Hope the start to your week was good, mine was fine, uninteresting. Just running some errands; post office, food shopping, library, the usual. But this week I am looking forward to a house party tonight and dinner with the rents and Jon's Aunt and Uncle on Thursday. You'll get some outfit photos from those hopefully. Anyone else got anything interesting planned for this week?
