Review - JustBake.com White Sugar Snowflake Cupcake Sprinkles

I posted last week about the rainbow cupcakes that I made, and how me and Jon had decorated them all differently. I was lucky enough to be sent some super cute, perfect for winter time baking, snowflake shaped white sugar cupcake sprinkles from JustBake.com. They looked perfect on the blue icing I had, really christmassy! Plus they tasted yummy!
And they are just £2 for this huge bag full, I have a loads left after decorating my cupcakes so they will be being used for another christmas cake or baking project closer to Christmas time.
JustBake.com is stocked full of fun decorating items for all your baking projects, from cake toppers, to edible paper and glitters, cupcake wrappers to sugar strands and icing dyes. Plus you can buy baking and decorating equipment too. Its a one stop baking shop!!

Accessories - Sunglasses for Men

I usually just focus on womens fashion on here but for my piece in The Bay Magazine this month I have been looking at mens fashion for a change, so I thought I would do a menswear post today for a change and look at men's sunglasses.

Jon has huge trouble finding glasses that suit him that he actually likes, which is really awkward as he has sensitive eyes when it comes to bright sunlight. So I have been looking at the different styles that men wear to try and work out what will suit him the best.

Here are a few celebrities and the styles they have chosen to wear.

Ryan Gosling wearing Persol 3028 Sunglasses £203

Simone Cowell wearing Ray-Ban 3025 £153

So which is your fav style for men? I think I like the Ray Ban Aviator style but I know they don't suit Jon at all sadly, maybe the Persol ones Ryan Gosling is wearing may be a better style. Ah well, will just have to take hime to try some on ready for this summer.

Thought I would introduce you all to a new online store I have found recently called Rosie True. This shop is an independently run store and has shops in San Marco and Jacksonville USA. Run by the fashionable Angie Sparks she aims to source pieces that are fashionable but convey an independent style. Mixing casual and luxury, designer and indie to provide something for all aesthetics.

Here are my fav few pieces from here current collections
White Shark Tooth on Grey $100
It's so simple yet chic

Sky Sea Poppyseed Pullover $108
I love the lace back on this comfy jumper

Ashley Silk Top $278
Love the colours and loose fit, great to keep nice and cool in the summer

Evan Shorts $180
These shorts are so fun, I love the pattern

Natural Sunflower Mini Dress $340
The summer always calls for a simple white dress and I think this one is so sweet with the lace detail

Event - Harrods The Summer of Now Event!

Listen up ladies, this event hasn't happened yet and it is definitely something you will all be interested in attending, and you can! It's today! Online!
Here is the invite! (I feel this all needed exclamation points!)
So as you can see from the invite above this event is being hosted by Harrods, Online, from 4pm to midnight today and all you lovely ladies are invited. Its to help celebrate and launch their new 'The Summer is Now', because Now really is the start of the summer.

I was totally excited when I was asked to blog about the event today as there are some awesome things happening. As the Great Gatsby is about to hit our screens and fashion this season has been taking lots of inspiration from history and vintage styles, Harrods 'The Summer is Now' and their event today is all based around vintage luxury glamour and lots of 1920's style.

First up there are going to be flash sales, discounts and gifts available throughout the day on their online store.
There will be interviews with the likes of Alice Temperley and other stylists asking questions on their favourite Summer Party memories, their must-have pieces for this year and what Summer Parties they are looking forward to and lots more fun and interesting stuff.

Finally there are some totally amazing competitions! You could win a weekend in New York, Cocktail Making Masterclasses, an exclusive preview screening of The Great Gatsby and lastly this stunning Alice by Temperley dress from the designers unreleased A/W13 collection! How amazing would that be! I would just need to find an occasion to wear it!
So what are you waiting for - if it's after 4pm get yourself over there and enter all the awesome giveaways and maybe do a little shopping - if it's earlier than 4pm set yourself a timer, alarm or nice big note in your diary so you remember to swing by and see what Harrods.com has to offer, I mean seriously do you want to miss out on winning that stunning dress or a trip to New York?

Sponsor Spotlight - Sunglasses Shop

Sunglasses Shop has sponsored my blog for another month, so you will again find their button in my side bar. They really are the best place to get yourself cheap and designer sunglasses online. So this month I have been looking at the top colours to come off the S/S catwalk for 2013. Pantone has a great breakdown of the top 10 Spring/Summer colours, so I have been on the hunt for some sunnies to match some of this seasons hottest shades. These are my top picks!

The number 1 colour is Emerald! A beautiful rich jewel toned green that you can expect to see cropping up in all areas of fashion. Check out the awesome SXUC Kylie Sunglasses below only £20!

The green shades are big this year as another important colour is called Tender Shoots (or grass green if your like me). This is more of a bright zesty green and these Quicksilver Sunglasses are the perfect shade of green, £39 but sadly they are junior size

Poppy Red is a brilliant bright colour for the summer and these Ray-Ban 2130 Wayfarers, are perfect for this colour trend. Plus they are just super cute!

There are 2 blues that will be big this summer: Dusk Blue and Monaco Blue, and I managed to find a double whammy with these Tiffany 4053B Sunglasses as they incorporate both of these shades of blue.

Lastly I have chosen Nectarine, not a colour for the faint hearted, but sone well it can make your skin glow without the need for fake tan! These Linda Farrow Projects RDM23 are perfect and they are in the sale at the moment!

So there you have it, some stellar sunglasses in great on trend spring 2013 colours. Which is your favourite pair? What colour will you be wearing this summer?

Sponsor Spotlight - Ikea Living Together

Very sorry I have been totally none existent the last week, I have been totally snowed under with some proofreading jobs so literally haven't had a moment to think about my little blog. But I have missed you all so I am hoping to manage to catch up with all your lovely blogs now, and I've got a few great blog posts coming up for you over the next 2 weeks.

I've got a few new sponsors for March, so here is my first Sponsor Spotlight for this month, the awesome IKEA - yes I am a big IKEA fan! With the amount of stuff (read clothes, shoes and crafty stuff) that I have I need nifty organisation techniques to help fit it all in my little flat. IKEA is great for useful storage solutions, and I have a number of the systems to help keep my flat nice and tidy.

Here is their latest video commercial, which I think is really sweet. Plus I'm pretty sure my flat would look quite like the one at the start of this video if it wasn't for my excessive amount of Billy bookcases, STOLMEN Scaffolding wardrobes and MALM chest of drawers.

Here are a few of the great items I have in my home (or want!) from IKEA to help organise my life!
The STOLMEN system is a total life and space saver. I have 6 hanging rails, 2 huge shelves, 2 sets of large drawers and 2 small ones. They have allowed me to get all my clothes (and Jons) into our 2 small bedrooms.

Ah the BILLY bookcase, simple and basic but a godsend for our over 750 DVDS and all my books (I hate getting rid of books!) We have quite a few of these dotted around the place.
I don't have these yet, but I plan on getting these KOMPLEMENT shoe racks at some point to help sort all my poor shoes, which are currently just stashed in big boxes under my bed.
Lastly this may just look like a curtain rail but it isn't, this is a multipurpose wonder rail, also called BYGEL Rail, and only £2. First I have them in my office/craft room, with the little clip on pots for sorting all my pens, pencil, scissors, cutting tools and glue sticks. But I also have them in the bedroom with all my necklaces hanging on them! So I can see all my necklaces nice and simply, and for your necklaces that don't have clasps to open, then use the simple 'S' curtain hooks and hang on them. So simple!

Anyone else a big IKEA fan? Got any handy tips for making them most of your small space?

Filmaholics Anonymous - Guilt Trip Trailer

This post is sponsored by Paramount but I have seen this trailer a few times recently so am more than happy to promote it. Being a massive musicals fan, I am also a massive Barbra fan, so any film with the amazing Miss Streisand in is good in my books. So I am super excited to see Guilt Trip, especially after seeing this trailer. Please watch, enjoy and let me know what you think of it!

So what you think? Will you be seeing it too?
It's out St Davids's Day 1st March!!!!

Hair - Schwarzkopf Colour XXL Dye

This post is sponsored by Schwarzkopf, but I have actually been a user of their Live Colour blends a lot on and off over the years. And I was recently checking out this new Colour XXL dye in Boots, thinking about using it to change my tips again. The colours are really vibrant, going from a pinkish red to a deep red so think it would look great on my blond tips. After checking out the videos below I just may have to try it out!

Has anyone else tried the Colour XXL range yet? Any opinions?

Celebrity Style - Taylor Swift Sunglasses

I must admit I'm a bit of a closet Taylor Swift fan. I love her music - especially 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'! - but I also love her style, she has such a cute and unique look about her. She also loves her sunnies (I know, what celeb doesn't!) and she looks great in them, she really knows what suits her face shape and what goes with her style. She has such a love for Ray-Ban Sunglasses, specifically the 2140 Wayfarer sunglasses, that she has a pair in each colour, well not every colour as there are loads, but quite a few. So I thought I would try find some of the pairs she wears on Sunglasses Shop Online so I could share them with you.
This outfit is perfection! I adore the dress as well. I have found it online, it is called the Ipanema Dress and it's by Gorman. It was $169 it's currently on sale for just $80!!

I think these ones are my fav! They are just so chic, yet still fun in the bright red.

So if you fancy channel a bit of Taylor Swifts style why not invest in a pair of her favourite Ray-Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses, they are timeless and iconic. Sunglasses Shop Online is also having a 20% off sale on certain lines at the moment too. So if you want some Cheap Designer Sunglasses you should check them out.

Anyone else got a celeb style they like? Any one you want me to do a post on?

Today, hopefully, we are off to Edinburgh for the day. Hopefully it's not too cold!
