Outfit Post - Feeling a little Mod

Wore this little outfit before the weather got nice to a little leaving do of a colleague.

Top: Nygard Collection
Hat: Vintage
Tights: TKMaxx
Belt: Vintage
Necklace: Outfit

I layered my beaded lace black top under the dress as it was a little cold, and that meant the back had a nice lace panel showing, and puffy sleeves.
My Tattoo tights - which I have since laddered, gutted!
How has your week been? Mines been insanely busy with a surprise birthday party for my sister, 5 days in work and a huge pile of writing work to finish!

Outfit Post - Moulin Rouge

Here is another of the photo shoots I did with Jon when we were at home a few weeks ago. I took the opportunity to wear my Vivien Of Holloway dress again, and this time it all turned a bit Moulin Rouge, as you will see.

It was totally pouring down so we were a little worried about where to go to take photos. We haven't been to Neath for a long time so went looking round to see where we could take photos under cover and remembered this little tunnel leading from the back of the station and industrial area to the town. Luckily no one was around so we managed to get some great fun photos taken!
Petticoat: Queen of Holloway on Ebay
Cardigan: Vintage
Belt: Vintage
Hairband: From Vintage fair
Shoes: NewLook
Tights: Random
Ring: Primark
Earrings: Claire's

This is where the Moulin Rouge took over! hehe!

Then a few shots in the church porch.

So there you go another outfit post!

On another note you may have noticed a bit of a re gig going on on the blog. I have a new header from a great photo Jon took and edited. A set of new buttons down the side bar on the left instead of my old link bar, which I think is much nicer. And a great little button for you all if you wish to share the love a little. I will also have some new pages soon, once I have finished typing them all.

What do you think? Do you like it? Do you think it looks better than my old one? I just thought it was about time for it all to be refreshed and tidied up a little. The new pages will have my reading list and blog love so the side bars will be cleaned up even more over the next few weeks.

But if someone can tell me how I would go about changing my title fonts to something a bit more fun and cursive I would love the help.

Oh and just for you all to know we did beat the Italians!!! Whoop! Now just the French on the 17th and we take the Grand Slam!

Outfit Post - Afan Argoed Derelict Barn

Hello all! I shall apologise in advance as this is going to be a very image heavy post. Me and Jon took a trip home with the intention of taking some pictures of an old derelict building near our parents but ended up in Afan Argoed and stumbling on this old barn in the forest and were inspired to take some outfit shots. And Jon managed to get so many shots I love that I couldn't chose so there are like a million!! I'm sorry, just skip a few if you get bored! lol!
I have added some of the vintage effects on our new photo editing software to a few but all the rest are purely Jon!
This although the simplest photo is my favourite - what do you think of this as my new header? I think its time I had a change.
Dress: Eerything5pounds.com
Cardigan: Vintage via Charity Shop
Belt: Vintage via Ebay
Shoes: NewLook
Tights: Random
Hairband: c/o Stone Bridge
Necklace: Swapped
Earrings: Miso
Ring: Dorothy Perkins

Are you still there? Did you make it? Well I'm glad you liked them enough to make it to the end of them. The whole setting feels a bit Withering Heights to me, so I can see a photo shot with billowing fabric! Now just to find the outfit!

Did you enjoy them? I hope you did, we felt like we struck gold when we found the barn, I am so happy with the whole set! There were even more and if you want to see them all you will find them on my FB page.

Don't forget the Spring Fashionista Giveaway, you could win £163 of prizes on my blog and £1000's more on others

Outfit Post - Beyond Skin Purse

Today's outfit is dedicated to an extra special item on loan (sadly not mine to keep) from Beyond Skin - the beautiful Bella mini clutch zip purse!

Beyond Skin are a vegan friendly ladies wear fashion label producing shoes and boots that are ethically and environmentally friendly. And are now adding a great purse to their collection. I was lucky enough to be lent the beautiful Navy Bella Clutch. At £87 they are a bit pricy for a clutch or purse but the quality is brilliant and if you really want an item that is vegan friendly you do expect to pay a premium.
This is the outfit I wore this week for mine and Jon's 7 year get to gather anniversary.
Clutch: c/o Beyond Skin
Belt: Vintage from ebay
Bangle and necklace: gifts
Ring: Primark
Ok so the purse actually costs more than all of the rest of the outfit put together!
But I think as a special gift or just as a splurge item a Beyond Skin Purse is a brilliant idea

Has anybody else tried one of the Beyond Skin product?
Are you worried about the fabric and materials used in your clothing?
Do you seek out fair trade, environmentally friendly or vegan friendly items?
