Bomb Cosmetics review!

Thought I would do a quick review of a new brand of bath bombs I have come across, I think they could even rival Lush! (Blasphemy I'm sure!) I don't often do cosmetic/beauty stuff so I thought you might like a change.

While I was away in Tenby I purchased 2 Bomb Cosmetic Bath bombs. I have only used the one so far and it was Hearts Desire. The shop I bought it from had loads to choose from, but this one was pretty (read: romantic and I was in a mushy mood after talking wedding half the day!) and it smelt great, kinda floral but not overpowering. They were a little bit pricey at £1.99 each but I was in a 'bugger it' kinda mood.
What they say about it: Fragrance of Pomegranate, Lotus Blossom and Black Orchid. Containing Geranium and Ylang Ylang oils and sugar hearts.
Benefits: Moisturising and conditioning skin.

What I say: I decided to use the whole bomb as they are not very big, but I could probably have cut it in half if I wanted to. It fizzed about in a rather satisfying way and released a beautiful scent. I could really smell the Ylang Ylang and the Lotus Blossom, floral and fresh. What I did notice, that worried me a little, was that the bomb seemed to make the water a little oily (on the surface), I assume this was because of the essential oils in it. But when I got in the bath it actually didn't seem that oily at all.
So did it really have the benefits they said: Yes it did! The oil actually made my skin so soft and smooth, my legs were shiny and soft to the touch. I was really happy with the results and my whole body was smooth and smelt lovely afterwards. And luckily the oil didn't leave any marks on my bath, which I thought it might have!

Will I be buying more: Definitely, when I have some spare money to burn on pampering myself.

Im saving the second one, which is the Fruit Bellini Mallow till the night before my wedding so I can relax and pamper myself in a yummy bath! Ill do a nice review of that one after my wedding for you.

Some new inspirational blogs!

I have recently been on the search for some new blog reading material (not that I don't still love all your blogs that I already read!) and have found some cracking sites. So today I thought I would bring you a selection of my new favourites.

First up P.S. I made this, most of us love to get a bit crafty when we have the time. This talented lady DIY's fashion, jewellery and homewares. She is inspired by different things around her and produces some great versatile and wearable pieces as well as some great stuff to spruce up her home. I'm dying to try out some of her DIY's myself, I guarantee you will catch the creative bug after visiting her site.

Next up, New Dress A Day blog. Marisa is a genius with a sewing machine and completely mental! She set herself a challenge, to go a whole year without traditional clothes shopping. Instead she allowed herself $1 a day to buy a vintage or second hand dress and turn it into something new and wearable. Nearly everything she makes is cute and fashionable even though the original item is usually something the rest of us would run away from screaming. She is brilliantly clever and very talented. She is about a third of her way through her challenge so go check out her older posts.

Before
After

This is the lady who was interviewed in the article my blog was mentioned in last week, see here. Queen B's blog is a funny hit of fashion faux pas, that I like to browse when I need a bit of a giggle. You can see what I mean.

And lastly Gorgeous Glam! This gal has the eye for all things beautiful. She features breath-taking magazine spreads, stunning editorial photos and pictures of anything inspirational. I love to nose through her blog to find pictures to inspire me or just make me feel a bit happier. Look at some of the stunning shots she has featured lately.

I can hear you 'Ohh' ing and 'Ahh' ing already. Aren't they all so pretty.

Well ladies hope you enjoy my new finds as much as I do. If you happen to leave a comment on any of them just mention you found them here please!
Thanks and Good Night

My Hen Party!

So Saturday was my hen do! Yeah! And if you happened to read my post a few days ago we did a full day of fun activities. I apologise in advance for the photo heavy post! But quite a few of you did ask for pictures!

First we went rock climbing. These are all my lovely hens.
Me up one of the walls.
Then we went pole dancing.
Me on a pole.
Me and my little sister. At this point there was also a stripper of which I knew nothing about, but figured those photos would be a little to explicit for my little blog.
Then on to a night of fun and fancy dress. I chose a TV and Film theme and I dress as the beautiful and elegant Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast in Tiffany's.
Audrey and Kill Bill (aka Biz)
Audrey and Marilyn (aka Heather)
Audrey and Wilma Flinstone (aka Briony)
Audrey with Velma, some St Trinians and Baby from Dirty Dancing (aka (l-r) Kate, Erin, Jenny and Laura)
Audrey with Super girl and Cruella Deville. (aka Kelly and Tina (my sister-in-law and mother-in-law)
From l-r Lara Croft, Marilyn (minus her wig), Miss Congeniality, Alice in Wonderland, Audrey, Tracy Turnblatt, Baby, St Trinian (aka Rachel, Heather, Cath, Jackie, Me, Heather, Jenny and Laura)
Audrey and Jessica Rabbit (aka Jess)
Audrey with Kill Bill and Betty Boop (aka Biz and Rachel)
Audrey with Marilyn, Wilma, Alice and the Pink Ladies (aka l-r Hannah, Rebecca, Me, Heather, Charlotte and Briony)
Velma, Bridget Jones, Miss Congeniality, Wilma and Audrey (aka l-r Kate, Emma, Cath, Briony and Me)
Audrey with Sandy, Wilma and Roxy Heart (aka l-r Me, Lindsey, Briony and Linda)
Audrey and the Queen of Hearts (aka Zoe)
Nessa (aka Caroline)
Alice in Wonderland (aka Hayley)
So that is most of my lovely ladies in all their fancy dress gloriousness. It was a brilliant night and I didn't get so I remember it all, thankfully. This morning I am aching though! Badly! All the activeness of my day has left my upper body very tired, so I have been being lazy all day! lol!

Good Morning all! First of all, I now have a twitter set up, yay! So if your a twitter-er please friend or link me (whatever it is on twitter). Im called daisydayz25. You can also click on the link over on the right under 'where to find me' , along with my chictopia and weardrobe (link me up on those too please!)

Right on to todays post. Thought it was about time for another Budget vs Breaking the Bank feature. One of the big trends for this summer seems to be the straw hat, especially trilbies and fedoras. Now, I love hats! Really love them! I own lots of trilbies but I don't own that many summer ones. So here are my favourites.

10 Best sunglasses for under £20

Ok I haven't told all you guys yet but I am now a proud contact lens wearer. I have never wanted lenses before as I love my glasses (although not in pictures!) but seeing as the wedding is fast approaching I thought I should get some lenses. So I will at least be able to see properly on the day, without needing to squint at everyone. That wouldn't be so attractive. So what that means is for the first summer since I was 12 I can wear proper sunglasses and not crappy prescription ones. So I have been on the hunt and thought I would share with you my 10 favourites from the high street and web. All for under £20

New Look £3 (my bargain choice!)

(I may have just put an order in for this cute pair! hehe)
(Think I may be making a trip into town to buy these little babies too, fingers crossed my store has them)

Which are you favourites?
