Thought I would introduce you all to a new online store I have found recently called Rosie True. This shop is an independently run store and has shops in San Marco and Jacksonville USA. Run by the fashionable Angie Sparks she aims to source pieces that are fashionable but convey an independent style. Mixing casual and luxury, designer and indie to provide something for all aesthetics.

Event - The CDF Meet Goody Bag and attendees!

I promise this is my last post about the South Wales Blogger Meet, just thought you all might like to see  what we had in our goody bags. It took a lot of asking nicely on our behalf, but between me and my fellow co-hosts we managed to get some really great items for the goody bags and I know all the girls were really excited and happy with what they received.

So here was what I had in my bag!

 The April Birchbox - I had never heard of these before (being a bit of a beauty novice!) but I am contemplating them now as I really like the idea of having fun beauty stuff delivered to me. 

 I was really excited by this Mirenesse lip and cheek pencil, it is something I would actually buy. Expect a review soon.

 Ollie & Nic gifted us these super cute clutch purses.

As you can see the bags were pretty impressive and I can't wait to make a start at sampling the fun items.

Event - Next Homeware Event

Totally forgot to post about this event from 2 weeks ago, bad blogger! But I was lucky enough to be asked to attend the Next Home-ware Blogger Event in their Next Home store in Cardiff. I had visited the home-ware department in the city centre store a few times before, but never their full size home store and I was pleasantly surprised by home much housey stuff they actually did. I was also really surprised that it isn't that expensive.

First we got a tour of the new season collections and found out all the top trends for 2013. Here are some pictures of my fav bits.

Really like this heart cushion! The pattern is made up of little knots!

How cute is this owl lamp!

Loving the muted colour palette, so pretty!

Although this is more our current style, deep rich purple and black!

Eeek! Awesome hare ornament! 

I took a quick nose in the clothing department too after the tour. Really love this whole look!

Then Next took all the lovely ladies to St David's hotel for a bit of afternoon tea, some manicures and getting to view their brand new TV commercial - if you haven't seen it yet check it out here, some seriously clever filming!

After the event myself, Gemma and Charli went for a cup of coffee in Terra Nova too!

These were the finished nails, you can't really see but this was a deep navy colour with lots of subtle glitter in it. It was really nice and shiny! I'm pretty sure it was Jessica Midnight Moonlight. Only issue was that the job on them wasn't that great sadly. It didn't reach the edges and the top coat was only in the centre, meaning there was ridges down either side, not great! But the rest of the day was really great!

Event - Harrods The Summer of Now Event!

Listen up ladies, this event hasn't happened yet and it is definitely something you will all be interested in attending, and you can! It's today! Online!

So as you can see from the invite above this event is being hosted by Harrods, Online, from 4pm to midnight today and all you lovely ladies are invited. Its to help celebrate and launch their new 'The Summer is Now', because Now really is the start of the summer.

I was totally excited when I was asked to blog about the event today as there are some awesome things happening. As the Great Gatsby is about to hit our screens and fashion this season has been taking lots of inspiration from history and vintage styles, Harrods 'The Summer is Now' and their event today is all based around vintage luxury glamour and lots of 1920's style. 

First up there are going to be flash sales, discounts and gifts available throughout the day on their online store. 

There will be interviews with the likes of Alice Temperley and other stylists asking questions on their favourite Summer Party memories, their must-have pieces for this year and what Summer Parties they are looking forward to and lots more fun and interesting stuff.

Finally there are some totally amazing competitions! You could win a weekend in New York, Cocktail Making Masterclasses, an exclusive preview screening of The Great Gatsby and lastly this stunning Alice by Temperley dress from the designers unreleased A/W13 collection! How amazing would that be! I would just need to find an occasion to wear it!
