30 for 30 challenge - Day 4

Ok I have already failed miserably at the 30 for 30 shopping ban and I am a very very bad person! I am so sorry (but I don't feel that guilty, lol). But really I could not resist that dress I saw yesterday, seriously it was so so pretty and being in the Oasis sale, double discounted, from £75 to £30 to £15 it was just too much! I can never afford stuff in Oasis and I rarely find stuff I like (I'm really fussy, honest!), in my size and at a price I can/am willing to pay. So I tried the dress on and caved once I saw how pretty it looked. So here it is so you guys can see why I had to break my ban, seriously had to, I couldn't just leave this beauty there! I promise to add another 4 days at the end of the 30 for 30 to make up for it, Promise!

So what do you think? Was it worth breaking my ban? I know it would not have still been there in a month, at that price! Its kinda a modern take on a 1920 flapper dress, don't you think? I would never usually buy a dress like this, so fancy, lol and expensive but I thought bugger it for a change. And shall be wearing it for my Mum and Dad's birthday meal out at the end of the month.

Ok onto Day 4

Simple outfit as I worked in the day today, so came home and got dressed into normal clothes which is very strange for me, as after work I usually just slump in my dressing gown for the evening if I'm not going out.

Outfit post - Frolics in the Park

Sorry for no posting this week but I've been in work all week and haven't had time to write any posts or take any interesting outfit shots, apart from the one I am bringing you today from mine and Jon's trip to the park.

But first I have to show you this gorgeous little bundle of joy. I totally forgot to post these photos when I took them, so he is now nearly 2 months old! He is one of my friend Kayleigh's first baby (and the first baby in our group of friends, so we were all very excited) and is called Liam Harvey. How sweet is he? He came to visit a few days after our wedding and for the whole hour I held him he slept, oh so cutely!

Now you have all 'Ohh'd' and 'Ahh'd' at the baby you can 'Ohh' and 'Ahh' at my baby bunny an my outfit, lol.

I couldn't quite decide if this top is in fact a top or a mini dress. Its very long to be a top or very short to be a dress. So I figured I would just make sure it was a top by pinning it all under and making a kinda bubble hem.

Cardiff has been really warm this last week (although it has rained today!) so all I wanted was to be cool and comfortable. These shorts I got from my swap with Tia and so great. They are long enough so I don't feel conscious but are nice and baggy so keep me cool, and they have huge pockets! lol. Plus the top/dress is really cute as well as being light weight.

This remind anyone of Winnie the Pooh, I had the urge to play Pooh Sticks like a child!

And these lovely little things are my new shoes!! Aren't they cute! I actually got a compliment on them while posing on the bridge from a women passing by. lol! I got 2 pairs of new shoes last week and both have polka dots on! Think I may have an obsession!

Blog Meet with Tia of PolyesteRiot

So yesterday was my blog meet and swap with Tia from PolyesteRiot. She is a really lovely girl, and we had a great time. We went for a bit of a shop in the morning and I showed her around Cardiff with her sister (my friend Rachel) and her mum, and then in the evening we went for a drink in a local pub.
