This time I layered my Fashion Union floral cardigan over my Dorothy Perkins lace and strip dress. I liked how the B&W lace floral pattern worked with the coloured floral top.

I don't really have anything else inspiring to say today. Just feeling a bit blah with my slightly dull everyday life and working in the pub (hopefully I'll get outta here soon!).

Anyway me and Jon went off taking photos of waterfalls yesterday and Jon has put a few up on his blog, go check them out please!

I've been wearing this look quite a lot but with different tights. Its really easy to throw on and always looks nice.

This top actually turned out to be a bit of a challenge. Its not so easy to match up with stuff due to its length. Its kinda tunic length. It doesn't look right layered over a skirt and is a bit to long over shorts, but I think I managed to work it tucked in and covered by the jacket in this outfit. As long as I don't wanna take the jacket off! lol!

So thats Day 19 and 20 done just 10 more to go!

30 for 30 challenge - Day 8 & 9

Well girls Im sorry for being so useless these past 2 weeks, just really hectic here. So here are Day 8 and 9 of my 30 for 30 challenge. I shall be posting 2 outfit days for a few days to catch up. There are also some pictures of my yucky allergic reaction, as a few of you guys clearly have a morbid curiosity about how I react. They aren't that gross really, but if your squeamish stop scrolling after the outfits! lol!

So Day 8's outfit is what I wore to Alton Towers so the main thing it needed to be was comfy.

No accessories at all as I wanted the outfit to be simple and comfy for all the rides. I did wear my leather jacket a bit when it rained.

Ok next comes my yucky leg so stop scrolling now if your squeamish.

I have a slightly strange allergy and I tend to even baffle doctors, who are adamant that it isn't an insect bite when I show them what happens. But I was diagnosed when I was little so I am used to it and know what it is. Strangely I thought I had grown out of it, as for 4 or 5 years I didnt have any trouble at all, but it came back! There is nothing really they can do about it, just antihistamines to stop the itching and antibiotics in case it gets infected, which it never has.

So first it swells like this. This took around 5 hours to rise. And it rose a few millimetres more before it hurt so much I had to pop it with a pin. That kinda is gross! It hurts rather than itches at this point.

Then when I pop it it goes like this. Although I did have to drain it about 5 times with a pin as it just kept swelling back up. It itches for about a day after popping. Now it doesn't itch or hurt really, but it does weep now and then so I have to tape bandages to it.

I also have a little one at the top of my leg. which only swelled a tiny, bit but the poison spread more in this one (see the red patch) so it itches like hell, and is raised and kinda hard.

So there ends my medical lesson for today, hope I haven't grossed you all out too much. Hopefully if any of you have a similar problem in the future you will now know what it is. Does anyone else have a weird allergy or reaction to things. I am allergic to quite a few other things but they just cause sneezing or a bad stomach (or a rash if its on my skin in some cases).

No more gross stuff from now on I promise.

Frolics in the park! And checking out St Davids 2

Well somebody left me a message a few days ago saying I should show my face in the photos, so today I have finally gotten up the courage to get my sis to take some nicer shots of me and my outfit for today. And you can see my face! I had originally wanted this to be an anonymous blog in case I wanted to bitch about something but after seeing so many of your lovely photos I thought I should change my ways. I had a lovely day out shopping with my little sis who has just moved into halls in cardiff, and I bet I shall be seeing alot more of her now. (She can be my mini photographer when she is about, lol) Other than shopping I have had a rather manic shift in the pub tonight but luckily managed to go the whole shift without any accident to myself or others.

Top is actually a dress from H&M, Skirt is by Tommy Hilfigure, Tights: Primark, Belt and Boots: small shop back home, Cardigan: New Look, Purple gloves: Tesco, Necklace: Shop in one of the many cardiff arcades.

I have realised you can't really see my necklace that well (or my gloves!) so will take a better pic of it another time coz I really do like it. Had it off my parents last christmas and it is just so cute. So that was me, you can (almost) put a face to this rambling blog!

Anyway whilst out in cardiff we had to check out the new St Davids 2 Mall. And its really not bad. I thought it would be bigger considering all the fuss they have made about it, I mean its only a fraction of the size of The Mall in Bristol or Blue Water, so in that respect it was a little disappointing. But it has a great variety of new shops (some are still not open though!) none of which I can afford at the moment but I thought I would take a few pics to show you some of them.

Prize for the cutest dressed shop goes to Butterfly. Although I'm not a fan of the colour pink this little shop is just adorable! Selling really cute little dresses and some stunning bags, at an almost reasonable price for tight purse strings (fingers crossed for awsome after xmas sales!)

Prize for funkiest clothing display goes to CULT, a store which seems to just stock Superdry clothing (so why they didn't just call it that I don't know). I'm loving the industrial warehouse feel to this place, and the ton of hanging lights is funky as hell. Prices are a little steep, but in line with most high street stores

Prize for most simple and effective store front goes to the apple shop, what more did they need other than one bloody huge, lit up apple! No-one could possibly miss it (even if they wanted to, like me who will have to literally drag my other half past).

And finally I just wanted to show you this one - Paperchase only because I love the huge striped wall! And believe me it really is massive! It is really pretty and colourful and just awesome, makes you wanna go in and spend a fortune on note-lets and cards just so you can stare at that wall for a little longer!

Right so thats all for tonight folks seeing as its 4am! I shall go take more photos of St Davids 2 tomorrow maybe! If you are living somewhere round here it is defiantly worth a gander (but I do warn you its busy at the mo!) So let's see what tomorrow brings.
