Product Review - Ooh La La Naked Beauty Body Wash

Thought it was about time I started reviewing the huge haul I got from Naked Beauty a few months back. If you want to know more about my haul and the brand read the post here.

So first up the Ooh La La Naked Beauty - Coco de Mer Body Wash.
At just £3.99 it is pretty decently priced as it is quite a large bottle.
What they say: This creamy bliss bodywash has an intoxicating fragrance blended with moisturising coconut derivatives and passion flower extract for irresistibly soft, naked skin.
Our coco de mer products leave many customers lusting for more...... try the Naked Coco de mer Foam bath and our brand new Naked Coco de Mer 24 hour moisture body butter to complete the menage a trois.Vegetarian and vegan friendly

What I say: This truly is "creamy bliss", the smell is amazing but I have found that this is true of most of their products. It also lathers really well meaning you don't need to use much of it, so it has lasted me ages, which is great value for money.

So did it really have the benefits they said: I can't say my skin is really super soft since using it, but my skin is in pretty good condition anyway so I wouldn't really notice a difference. I did smell amazing though, lol!

Will I be buying more: Yes I will! When this bottle runs out (which may be a while) I definitely will be buying another bottle. Plus Jon loved the one I got him so I will have to get them both I think.

Fancy it: Buy it here

Has anyone else tried any of their products?

Outfit Post - Long over due wedding outfit

Sorry this outfit is long over due. This is what I wore to my in-laws wedding a few months ago. I wore it paired with my blue suede high heeled shoes in the day, but as the wedding reception was in a marque in a field I decided to wear different shoes in the evening.
With my beautiful sis.
Dress: Fever London
Shrug: Unbranded - borrowed from my mum
Shoes: Primark
Hairbow: Primark
Bangle and Ring: Gift from my friend Rachel
Necklace: Gift from my Aunty Margaret
Jacket: C&A
With my Hubby

Hope you like it.

Are you doing anything fun this bank holiday? Think of me, I will be working all day

I want - a Friends inspired skirt

Does this skirt remind anyone of Rachel in Friends. Not sure which episode but think it was season 9. She exchanges a jumper off Monica for a skirt very similar to this and wears it to meet Ross at the airport (sound familiar, look familiar?)
Anyway, I think I would like this skirt coz it would be fun to style, it's very different! Don't you think?

Friend Friday - My favourite Item

This weeks Friend Friday is being hosted by Ashley Getting Dressed and she asked us what our favourite item of clothing was and why.

Well here is mine. I had a quick think about it and I honestly came down to these shoes - my brogues. There are just so versatile and I wear them all the time. I have paired them with just about every time of outfit and somehow they just always work. If you have been reading my blog for a while no doubt you will have noticed me wearing them a lot.
I love black & white together for a start so these were always going to be a hit with me, but I also love how they are a very feminine version of a typical brogue because of the little heel. Which is the perfect size, I am not a skyscrapers kinda girl, they just hurt my feet and I am tall enough without heels, so these are great
They also have a very delicate traditional lace edge pattern around the edges which is just so cute. Plus they are mega comfy! lol!
These are just 2 outfits with the brogues so you can see how I like to style them.

They came from New Look for just £10 in the sale. I actually returned a top my mother had bought me which I didn't like and got these instead! So quids in! hehe!

What's your favourite item of clothing?

Friend Friday - Self Employment

It's Friday already, my gosh where has this week gone! I seem to have crammed so much in this week. I saw a Chinese acrobatic/ballet performance of Swan Lake, co-hosted a hen party at my flat (with a naked butler) and am off to another hen party now. Will bring you pictures after the weekend.

So as it's Friday I thought I would do this weeks Friend Friday post. This week we are discussing self-employment and taking the plunge to go it alone. Find all the other ladies participating over on Modly Chic.
1. Fess up - if you could do anything professionally what would it be?
I'd just like to be able to ditch all my normal day jobs and work full time as a freelance writer. I am slowly getting there, I have 3 monthly writing jobs now so hopefully I will be able to do it soon.

2. What draws you to this?
It's all I've wanted to do since I was 15. I have this creative urge that I simply have to let out, and I find writing is my best outlet.

3. When did you first start dreaming about this?
As I said above I was about 15 when I decided I wanted to be a writer. It was after reading so many fashion magazine I decided this is what I wanted to do with my life. But it wasn't until I went to uni that I decided I wanted to be a freelance writer instead of working in a specific magazine office. I liked the idea of the freedom of working for many publications and being able to write about a range of topics.

4. What's holding you back from going all in?
Money! In all honesty it's just the financial side. I don't make enough from my writing to cover everything so sadly I still have to do my day job/jobs. If I had a nice pot of savings then I may just go for it, but I don't. If I can just get a few more paid jobs on board then I will do it!

5. Sometimes the first step is the hardest...what's one step you can take now on the way to realising your dream?
Just to get out there and get my name know by more of the local press, and network, network, network!!

So what is your dream career? Have you taken the plunge to go freelance?

Polyvore - Sienna Miller

Hey ladies, I am sorry for being away so long, it's just been so busy here with the writing, pub, tourist info centre, the flat and life that I simply haven't had any time to blog. Which make me sad as I am missing you all lots. So here is a quick post to hopefully get the ball rolling again on my blogging.

It's just a quick polyvore of a Sienna Miller look. I hate jeggings but I think this look would work really well with black jeans instead.

What do you think? Would you wear this look?
To me it would be great for an everyday look, just wearing our to run errands or go to the shops, simple yet still chic.

Sunday Inspiration - Organised Office Spaces

Hello Ladies, today's inspiration is Organised Offices, as that is what I am dreaming about for our new flat. In our new home I have a proper office space for my writing and crafting, but sadly at the moment it will be the last room to get done as the bedroom still needs a lot of work. So there are boxes still piled up everywhere and all the general crap which we have yet to find room for anywhere else.

But when we are finally done I hope it will be able to look something like these amazing offices. I think utilising your space well is key. And I love how all these offices are compact but still manage to find space for so much stuff.

Which one is your favourite? Do you have any tips or tricks for keeping an organised office?

I shall show you a pick of the office very soon. I am slowly getting somewhere with it, it's just very slow work.

Friend Friday: Location, Location, Location

Ok so I was away for ages, then I came back, then I went away again, now I'm back! I hope to stay this time! But life is just so ridiculously busy for me at the moment. First the move and all the unpacking and organising (which still isn't over), then I took on a temp job on top of the pub and all my writing work, but hey I am a work-aholic after all.

So onto the post - it's Friday so a Friend Friday post for you all, and this week we are discussing Locations Styles.
See the other ladies over at Modly Chic.

What part of the world do you blog from?
I blog from Wales!!! Specifically Cardiff!!! There aren't many of us bloggers here but we are trying.

If you had to describe the overall mode of dress for where you live what would you say?
25% chav tracksuits, 25% Sari's, 25% conveyor belt high street students and 25% eclectic eccentric fashionably chic! (I hope I fit into the last category)

Do you fit in with the status quo around or do you break the mold?
I think I fit with a small proportion, but I hope I am at least a little bit individual.

If you have lived or traveled to another part of the country/world did your clothing choices evolve?
Sadly I have never lived anywhere else in the world, but I did feel quite inspired by a lot of the fashion when I was in China. I'm not brave enough to try most of it though.

If you had to describe your style by naming a specific city, what would you be?
Blinking heck that's difficult! Ummm I think I'm quite well places to be honest, Cardiff is a quite young modern city. Its very diverse and actually quite stylish and different.
